BIOGRAPHY

 

Angelina Asomaning is a visual artist who currently lives and works in Accra, Ghana. Her moniker / Artist name is Abena Oyiwaa.

After pursuing a degree in Accounting, she has spent the last 4 years defining her style, Afro-fem Surrealism. Her work has been exhibited in Ghana, internationally and in the Metaverse as Non- Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

 

Inspired by the emotions of women and personal experiences, her paintings are a subjective and personal response to the experiences of women around her, from stories of personal growth goals, wellness and healthy beauty standards. She hopes women feel the urge to accept themselves first, take charge of their health, set realistic goals, and focus on achieving them at their own pace.’
